What We Do
Overview
Academic Technology and Learning Innovations Services (ATLIS) is Barnard College’s hub for advancing technology in support of teaching, learning, and research. Formerly known as the IMATS Academic Technology team, our new name reflects our commitment to innovation, emerging technologies, and pedagogical practice. From administering core technologies including Courseworks (Canvas) and Zoom to leading initiatives in generative AI, we provide Barnard with both the infrastructure and the expertise that allows for effective use of technology in the college classroom. We offer support through email tickets, consultations with instructors, technology pilots, and workshops/programming.
Our services our detailed below, but please know that we are open to projects and collaborations outside of this list. To get started working with us, simply send us an email (atlis@barnard.edu) or request an ATLIS consultation.
